truPREP Protein FFPE Kit (Manual 16)

Achieve reliable results with the Covaris truPREP Protein FFPE Kit, which offers three modular options for high-quality protein sample preparation from Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. This innovative solution provides the flexibility to either employ a comprehensive Covaris workflow or seamlessly integrate with your existing purification and/or digestion workflow. Utilizing the power of focused ultrasonication with Adaptive Focused Acoustics® (AFA®) Technology, this workflow requires no toxic organic solvents or harmful chemicals. 

Note: The required truPREP Protein FFPE Hardware Accessory Kit (PN 500827) is sold separately.

Modular Options

Option 1 (Isolation - PN 520359) includes a proprietary non-toxic deparaffinization method used in conjunction with Covaris’ Adaptive Focused Acoustics® (AFA®) technology to effectively homogenize FFPE tissues and extract proteins. The workflow is streamlined with easy loading of the 10 μm FFPE scroll into individually capped tubes for easy processing. Upon completion of this protocol, users can continue with their own established purification and digestion workflows.

Option 2 (Isolation & Purification - PN 520363) integrates the Isolation option with an optimized Protein Aggregation Capture (PAC) workflow for efficient protein purification. Upon completion of this protocol, users can continue with their own established digestion workflows.

Option 3 (Isolation, Purification, & Digestion - PN 520363 & 520364) includes the Isolation and Purification option along with Promega Trypsin Gold for an overnight digestion, resulting in a purified peptide hydrolysate for further downstream analysis.
