Supervises the receiving of materials, coordinates the stocking of materials, oversee the building of assembly kits for production. Maintains stock records using an MRP system. General knowledge inventory control methods. Reports to the Manufacturing Manager, but able to lead a small team to perform duties.
Essential Responsibilities: The employee may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential responsibilities as determined by business necessity.
• Develop and maintain receiving and inventory procedures according to GMP and streamline where possible.
• Oversee stockroom levels and maintain inventory in accordance with procedure.
• Supervise and participate in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation when required.
• Maintain appropriate inventory records in accordance with procedures and policies.
• Receive materials according to procedure using the MRP system
• Participate in the investigation of production problems with equipment, kit assembly, or processes.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Coordinate building of kits for production.
• Work with other departments on fulfilling part requests.
• Delivery of packages throughout the building.
Non-Essential Responsibilities: In addition to the essential responsibilities listed above, the employee may be required to perform other non-essential functions. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job related duties requested by their supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Must have High School diploma and 5-7 years of related experience with receiving and inventory.
• Excellent computer skills, including MicroSoft Word, Excel, Internet and Email.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Ability to use lift
• Ability to lead a small team
• Ability to work until 4:30 or 5PM to meet shipping deadlines
