Digital Marketing Manager

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will shape the digital marketing strategy for our collective suite of solutions and products and execute overlapping lead generation programs to ensure a constant flow of MQLs to global sales teams. Based out of the Woburn MA office, this role is hybrid. The position will be supported by a team of marketers who will generate relevant product and service-related materials for use in campaigns, and several subject matter experts, a designer, and marketing services vendors.

This is a strategic, individual contributor role where you will identify growth opportunities across the business, plan and prioritize both independent and cross-functional initiatives, own their delivery to impact growth, and iterate on their results based on testing and learning. The successful candidate in this role will have a background in areas of biology, life sciences, or scientific research.

The position could be hybrid in Woburn, MA, or remote in the following states: MA, NY, MD, PA, NC, OH, IL, TX, CA, or CO.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

 

  • Set up, monitor, and oversee lead generation workflows, including website forms, Pardot/Hubspot workflows, and Salesforce task and lead workflows.
  • Manage and update website pages, social media posts, and webstore as needed.
  • Learn all Covaris offerings, utilize internal subject matter experts to identify opportunities to get messaging to market, and turn insights into lead generation opportunities.
  • Fully grasp the sales lifecycle and sales leadership goals for the year and produce lead generation programs that pass marketing qualified leads to the global sales team.
  • Quantify mediums used to generate leads by budget allocation, lead quality, and ROI.
  • Expand and diversify use of agencies and other 3rd party vendors to develop our techstack and digital capabilities to deliver a targeted, regional message, or a unified global message while maintaining the lead generation objective.
  • Respect every lead at the stage of the funnel they are in and use a mix of evergreen content, nurturing, and ABM tactics to slowly turn aging, prehistoric, and lightly active leads into sales-ready marketing qualified leads.
  • Develop segmented lead generation campaigns to distinct audiences, understand how to develop and write emails that elicit action.
  • Manage and optimize a robust SEM program.
  • Establish open communication channels and host regular team alignment meetings.
  • Broadcast clear objectives, goals, milestones, KPIs, and program results.
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with cross-functional marketing leaders to ensure the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B digital marketing role, including 3 years in a demand generation role, and 2 years of experience working in a sales support role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Science, or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Knowledge in the areas of biology, life sciences, or scientific research required.
  • Experience working effectively in one or more marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Pardot, etc.) required.
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts, and practices, with emphasis on search marketing, marketing automation, social media marketing, and other digital lead generation programs.
  • Highly fluent in Salesforce, WordPress, Social Media, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Asana or similar suites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $100,000- $130,000 per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits.
