Data Quality Specialist

This position is office based and reports to the Quality Manager,

Essential Responsibilities: The employee may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential responsibilities as determined by business necessity.

  • Entering, monitoring, and analyzing data into a manufacturing ERP system
  • Routing and setting up Bill of Material (BOM) structures
  • Works closely with the other members of the team to ensure that data integrity issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Works closely within the team to input and maintain Master Data elements as required.
  • Use previously created SQL data load definitions to create/update data attributes as part of implementation phase in the PLM system.
  • Reviews Smartlist data for errors, missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Solves a range of basic problems by analyzing possible solutions using basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Product Lifecycle Management.
  • Maintaining and reviewing the integrity of the data entered
  • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets for quality control department
  • Light administrative work for the operations area (QA & Manufacturing)

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail and excellent typing skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage time, multiple tasks, and deadlines effectively
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Access, SharePoint
  • Experience using spreadsheets and word processing packages.
  • Database or ERP/Accounting systems a plus
  • Experience with Data loader Tools preferred.
