A Stronger Start for Better Data: The Whole Sample Prep Workflow for Proteomics

 

Every matrix. Every protein. Every peptide. Every throughput requirement. The promise of complete proteomic coverage has been undermined by the very first step in the workflow – sample preparation. Covaris’ Adaptive Focused Acoustics (AFA) sample preparation workflows end that compromise with a comprehensive, end-to-end platform built for every proteomics lab.

In these breakfast workshops, esteemed speakers and thought leaders from the Proteomics world will demonstrate the benefits of a customizable, single, robust workflow that maximizes total protein yield from a host of different complex biological matrices, ranging from fresh frozen tissues, cells, and FFPE, the hub for critical information. 

Each of the presentations will demonstrate an optimal use of AFA settings for efficient lysis/disruption of matrices, Customizable purification with S-Trap or SP3, and AFA-accelerated digestion with trypsin and/or Lys-C, reducing the need for overnight incubation to under 90 minutes without compromising data quality.

The data showcased will span total, targeted (PRM/SRM), DIA, FFPE retrospective, and PTM-enrichment proteomics suggesting that no matrix is too hard, no protein too hidden, and no peptide too modified to be recovered, digested, and quantified.
